Kitten Sittin' of Delaware is growing, and we're looking for loving, reliable cat sitters to join our amazing team! If you have a genuine love for animals, take pride in your work, and are looking for a meaningful, part-time role, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Position
This is a part-time position focused on providing professional care for cats and small pets in their homes.
Most visits take place on weekends and holidays, with flexible scheduling designed to fit around your existing commitments.
While visit times may vary, weekend and holiday availability is required, with a minimum of two weekends per month.
What We're Looking For
We’re seeking individuals who are interested in building long-term relationships with both our team and the pet parents we serve.
This is not a temporary or fill-in role. Our clients trust us with their homes and their pets, and we are committed to providing consistent, reliable care.
Requirements for the Role
To be considered, applicants must:

Live in Delaware and within 5 miles of 19803

Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
-
Have experience with, and a genuine love for, cats and small animals

Enjoy working with people. This is a customer service role as much as a pet care role

Be dependable and committed to all scheduled visits (pets rely on you; last-minute call-outs are not acceptable except in true emergencies)

Be trustworthy, responsible, and comfortable working independently

Communicate clearly and respond promptly to messages and updates

Be organized, detail-oriented, and take pride in providing high-quality care
Other Requirements

Weekend and holiday availability

Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile apps

Willing to work as a W-2 employee (not an independent contractor)

Able to commit exclusively to Kitten Sittin’ (no other pet care employment or personal pet sitting businesses)

Comfortable working in all weather conditions

Provide professional references

Complete a background check (cost reimbursed after 6 months)

Complete Pet First Aid training (provided at no cost)
